It had a difficult time when it came across carpets with longer piles and also some long, thick mess of dried-on debris.
Like many robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box and only requires an initial mapping session to get it used to your home. After that, the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or merged when needed.
